No — you should check out the Republican Civil War article I wrote about. These are frameworks for broad definitions of voter behavior. The cultural wing of the Republican Party is defined by voters’ who are motivated by cultural considerations, of which the white nationalist part is a major portion of the Trump base. It is not clearly measurable on purpose: it is hard to observe accurately peoples’ final motivations at the ballot. But to pretend there is not a white nationalism element of the Trump coalition is absurd.
