(August 2020 note: An awful lot of people are finding this on Google. This was originally written after Trump’s ‘civil war’ tweet in October 2019. But this is just a segment of the story: it actually has three parts and an introduction that sets the stage. If you’re here randomly, please at the very least look at what underlying assumptions of how a second civil war in this era would play out!

Winter 2020–21: an East Coast drive on D.C., and a President on the run

With New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore quickly secured by DAR, the Libz have access to people, police arsenals, and financial capital on a scale the MAGA heartland cannot match. They rapidly utilize these resources to form a potent militia of several thousand that makes a major push on Washington, D.C., wiping out token MAGA militia resistance in New Jersey and in the capital itself. Their daring caravan of Priuses and Honda CRVs rolls steadily across the eastern seaboard, attracting flag-waving Libz along the way and dispatching angry old white men taking pot shots with rapid success.

But President Trump can see them coming, especially with the Lib media trailing behind as if they’re covering…
